Catholic Schools Week in Our School

Catholic Schools’ Week Sunday 28th January— 4th February
Catholic Schools week will take place from 28th January – 4th February. The theme for Catholic Schools Week this year is: Celebrating the work of our local Catholic schools. This programme invites Catholic schools to reflect on and celebrate the relationship that exists
between home, school, parish & the world. All classes will be making a special effort to show that we want to live like Jesus and share His love. During Catholic Schools’ Week pupils will engage in a number of activities i.e. making St. Brigid’s crosses, studying the
work of saints and offering prayers for their friends and family. Children will be making extra crosses to give as a gift—which will be left in Lisdoonvarna church for mass at 10am on Friday 1st February .

St. Bridget’s Crosses
Pupils are asked to bring in rushes from Monday—Thursday next week. Pupils will be making crosses on Thursday, 31st January.
