Christmas Plays

Christmas Plays

Covid didn’t stop the fun, performances and plays at St. Enda’s NS. Each class showed off their talents.

We are all so proud of the children’s hard work and positive attitudes.
Junior and Senior Infants dressed up and performed some beautiful songs. Their big smiles lit up the hall.

1st class also performed songs such as ‘Santa bring me a Dinosaur’ and ‘Tá an Nollaig buaillte linn’. The children also recited a Christmas poem complete with musical affects.

2nd and 3nd class performed a play where the children helped Santa but ended up getting up to mischief and causing more harm than good. Well I never!

4th and 5th class performed a wonderful play where Santa was tricked into believing he had put on weight and wouldn’t be able to deliver presents to the boys and girls! Thankfully, it all worked out in the end.

5th and 6th class also performed a play. This time Santa was threatening to quit his job as he was too tired and fed up. Not to worry as a whole cast of characters came to the rescue and helped Santa find his Christmas Spirit.
It was a lovely time in school as the children prepared costumes, constructed sets and painted backdrops. Thank you to all our budding actors and actresses for brightening up the last few days of term.
