The Corpus Christi Procession will take place on Sunday 3rd June after the 11.30am mass in Lisdoonvarna.  This date is the Feast day of Corpus Christi which is the feast day of Lisdoonvarna Church which is named Corpus Christi after Jesus’ presence in the Holy Eucharist.  It is also the final Do this in Memory Sunday of the year for the First Holy Communicants.   The Benediction ceremony will take place at the school followed by refreshments in the hall. As in tradition girls who have received First Holy Communion can bring baskets of petals to spread along the ground on route to the school.  Baskets will be provided by the church, children will just need to bring petals on the day.
