Our 6th class girls and boys basketball teams did us proud at the Marion Keane Basketball Tournament on February 7th in Inagh Community Centre. We were up against Doolin and two strong Lahinch sides. Our boys lost out to Lahinch 13 points to 8. The Doolin game was very close but Doolin eked out a victory in the end with 12 points to 8. Our girls were also beaten by Lahinch but proved too strong for the Doolin, beating them 8 points to 6.

We had a great day and enjoyed some well earned ice-creams afterwards! Well done to all the players for their commitment and hard work. A special thanks to Dmytro in 5th class who helped bump up our numbers on the boys team. He proved a very valuable addition.
