Bhí Seachtain na Gaeilge den scoth againn i mí márta! We went all out in Lisdoonvarna NS to celebrate our national holiday and our national language. We had several whole school events, including a tráth na gceist (quiz), a céilí, a ceolchoirm (concert) and our weekly Dúisigí/ Bogaigí (Wake Up/ Shake Up) trí Ghaeilge. Every class learned the Siege of Ennis for our céilí and performed a song or poem for our ceolchoirm. There were prizes for pupils who made a special effort to speak Gaeilge during the week and all classes made sure to spread the Gaeilge love on their walls. Bhí an craic thar barr!! ‘Beatha teanga í a labhairt.’
