For the first time in our history, St Enda’s were invited to compete in the All Ireland Chess Championships….and compete we did.

After a long, intense day of chess, our girls’ team came 6th and our boys’ team were placed in 7th. That is 6th and 7th in THE WHOLE COUNTRY.

This is a phenomenal achievement in our first year playing chess competitively. We are so proud of our two teams.
