Exciting Pilot Visit for Maths Week at St. Enda’s!

As part of our Maths Week celebrations, we were thrilled to welcome a special guest—a real-life pilot! This visit was not just about maths, but a fun and engaging exploration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths (STEAM).

The pilot brought real-world experience into the classroom, showing how maths and science play a vital role in aviation. The children were captivated as they learned how pilots use mathematical concepts to navigate, calculate distances, and ensure safe journeys. The hands-on demonstrations and exciting stories from the cockpit brought these subjects to life in a way that inspired curiosity and creativity.

Our students had a fantastic time, asking thoughtful questions and diving into the world of aviation. The pilot’s visit made STEAM subjects more relatable and engaging, sparking an excitement for learning that will surely last beyond Maths Week.

We are so grateful for this memorable experience, and we’re sure the children will be talking about it for a long time!
