Our school is participating in ‘The Food Dudes programme’ run by Bord Bia, in conjunction with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and aims to encourage children to eat more fruit and vegetables both in school and at home.  A full programme is in place and introduces tasting days of different fruit and vegetables for the children.  Children are enjoying the programme.  The duration of the programme for senior classes is 8 days and 16 days for junior classes.
