Fifth and sixth class were recently treated to a virtual visit from a wildlife expert who explained the wonderful nature on our very doorstep.
The Spa may not be the Serengeti but in just a 1m squared space, we were shown all the different leaves present. We even saw signs of a visiting hedgehog and snail trails. We then learned about all the different creatures present in Ireland and how they protect themselves.
We then made our own animals using clay.
It was a wonderful experience and we are so thankful to the Heritage Council for organising the visit.
